Start by measuring the inside depth of your window frame. For a flush inside mount, you’ll need at least 3¼ inches between the window glass and the front edge of the frame. This clearance ensures the mounting brackets fit properly.
If your depth is less than 3¼ inches, we recommend choosing an outside mount instead.
Measure the exact width of your window opening — no deductions needed. Using a measuring tape, measure across the top inside of the window frame and record this number. Your blinds will be made to fit precisely within this width.
Measure the exact height from the top to the bottom inside of your window frame. Write down this measurement for ordering.

Install your blinds inside the window frame for a clean, built-in look. Make sure the window opening is free of obstructions that could interfere with proper fit or operation. As long as your window has at least 3 1/4 inches of depth and no obstructions, an inside mount will work perfectly. 1/4 inches will be deducted during product to ensure a true fit.

Install your blinds outside the window frame for maximum coverage and improved light control along the edges. An outside mount is recommended if your window depth is less than 3 1/4 inches or if the window frame prevents an inside mount.

All of our Faux Wood blinds come standard with the tilt wand on the left side.
